The firm throttle spring is an easy-to-install accessory for your Asetek SimSports® pedals. The throttle spring is harder than the one originally included and allows you to have a firmer sensation and even better throttle control.

It gives you a better feel when racing, higher resistance and makes it possible to apply more pressure to the throttle, which gives you an even more realistic racing experience.

One spring and the compatible pivot base is included in the box.

Swapping this in took maybe two minutes and now the throttle actually pushes back instead of feeling mushy. The harder spring makes it way easier to hold partial throttle through long corners without my foot drifting.

The firmer feel is exactly what I wanted for the throttle, way less mushy than the stock spring. Only gripe is it took a bit of fiddling to seat it properly, but once it's in it's solid.

Swapping this spring in took maybe five minutes and the throttle definitely feels stiffer now, way less accidental input mid-corner. Only gripe is that after a long stint my calf notices the extra resistance, so it's not for everyone. Still a solid cheap upgrade if you want more feel from the pedal.
